Hi everyone I wanted to let you all know about a wonderful new support system that's
sweeping our country. Let me tell you about the Sister Sheds ………
Sister Sheds was brought to fruition by two Dublin women who are cousins, Sherin Hughes
and Rachel Hughes. Their mission is “Building a Sisterhood….
People need people, we need interaction, we need support, we need to know we’re not
alone”
Their aim is to provide support and a safe space for women of all ages often for a
cup of tea and a chat but also by providing activities that focus on promoting the
mental and physical Wellbeing of all their members. We are Women Connecting
Women!
The Sister Sheds are a great place for women to have access to wonderful opportunities to
meet other women and find their tribe.
I am currently one of the many facilitators with the Sister Sheds and have witnessed first
hand the importance of these gatherings. The women instinctively create a space where
they support each other and fix each other crowns, each and every woman is unique and
this is celebrated throughout the Sister Sheds.
